Gasthof Sonnenheim in Saaldorf-Surheim

The breakfast was very good. Lots of choice and good service! The location is very good! The room was perfectly acceptable.

3 single rooms were booked. There was a musty, old smell in all the rooms accessible to us. Especially in the guest room, in the room, on the bed linen, towels in the room. The bed linen (blanket) was contaminated with a red splash of paint or a drop of blood (?). The mattresses were very saggy, soft and a squeak from the springs that could be heard with every movement. The single beds are kept very narrow. The decor in the room as a whole is shabby and spartan. The bathroom is right next to the toilets A lifting system (pump) is connected which starts operating very loudly when the water flush is activated. The walls of the rooms are very thin, the snoring and burping of the assembly troops, which were obviously mostly quartered there, could be clearly heard, and I couldn't sleep after 2:00 a.m. The floor in the room is very worn, with a large hole in the entrance area (wear and tear) The water from the shower head has little pressure and smells a bit strange at first. For breakfast there were defrosted rolls and plenty of side dishes. The people there are very friendly and extremely hard working! The prices there (quite cheap) certainly do not allow anything higher quality or renovation. We were quartered there by a business partner for 1 night, even though we would in any case avoid such an ambience. I like to be a camper myself and basically don't have very high standards, but despite all the friendliness of the people I can only recommend this accommodation as a stopgap.

Nice people and we ate well, a lot and cheaply. Overnight was also good.

Large menu with reasonable prices - of course the food is not freshly cooked, but value for money is great! Very nice service (local) and perfect beer. We'll be back soon and we can only recommend it!

Great hotel super good breakfast and evening food but the beds are so bad that you can not do anyone. Much traveled but have never experienced such bad beds anywhere

We were with our two dogs unfortunately only for one night in the cozy inn. It was our return from Croatia. We felt very comfortable. Starting from the beautiful apartment, we went on to dinner, that was not only delicious but also more than adequate in terms of price. The breakfast the next morning left nothing to be desired. We can recommend the Gasthof Sonnenheim in every way. best regards

Very nice place, simple rooms which really a good in comparison to the prize, we had good German dinner and beer. The Hotel is not that far from Freilassung and if you plan trips to Salzburg, why not stay here. So, if you want a nice place to stay, I again would choose this place. And not to forget: very nice and friendly people
